Ian Pelayo FGIA FCG, Director of Corporate Secretarial at ABN Australia Accounting Services Pty Ltd, has been named a finalist in the 2026 Governance Top 100, marking his third consecutive year receiving the recognition.
Launched in 2020, the Governance Top 100 highlights the contribution of governance professionals to organisations across Australia. The programme recognises the people responsible for developing and maintaining governance frameworks, which help organisations establish accountability and support sound decision-making.
The recognition places Ian among this year's finalists, who represent a broad range of roles, including company secretaries, directors, general counsel, risk specialists and compliance managers. The programme is organised by governance consultancy 3YS Owls in partnership with Computershare, Corporate Technology Services (CTS), McCullough Robertson and Nasdaq.
Ian acknowledged the recognition and the support of his ABN Australia colleagues and others who have contributed to his professional journey.
The winner of the 2026 Governance Top 100 will be announced during a webinar on Friday, 30 October 2026, at 9 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or 10 am Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
